People tend to either love or hate Crocs. I personally love them. My clothing choices are pretty much about comfort these days and I’m yet to find shoes as comfy to wear as Crocs. Plus, I had no idea how many cool styles they had these days! Check out these mary janes! I think I might be dropping some hints to a certain hubbie for Mother’s Day…

Anyhoo, I was very excited when I read that they’ve come up with a rainboot! The Crocband Jaunt for Mums (pictured in black – but hopefully they have them in yellow) and the Crocband Jaunt Kids (in blue) look pretty cool too. When Aspen first started walking during the rainy season last year, she couldn’t pick her feet up in normal clunky gumboots and I would have KILLED for some of these! Big things are happening to the blog and I haven’t really given you much notice about it. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now. I don’t know about you but I’m one of those people who needs to rearrange the furniture every so often to make the house flow a little bit better and I’ve been itching to tweak things on the blog for so long to make it a little easier to use. Plus, I felt it was time to add some COLOUR and PIZAZZ and FABULOUSNESS to the blog. A little makeup if you will. Of course the content will stay as awesome as always (aw shucks, thanks for the compliment) but it’ll have a little more spit and polish (and those cool ‘related post’ boxes I’ve been dreaming about for AGES!)

Of course, I say all this but since this whole blogging thing is slotted in between naps and bedtime routines (no daycare or babysitters here unfortunately), I don’t have the time to do everything I’d like to just yet. It’ll be a gradual change over the next few months. The start of the new changes will begin THIS WEEKEND!! I KNOW! Crazy quick! It’s all down to my amazingly awesome programmer Gav who has been beavering away on this for the last couple of weeks. I’m very excited about the new changes and I know you’re going to love all the happy new colour. Make sure you check back next week to see it in all its technicolour glory!

It’s been a loooong time since I posted up baby names but this lovely mention behooved me to create a new list just in time for the Royal Wedding Event! Gala! Spectacular! that is on the tip of everyone’s tongue right now (well at least this side of the hemisphere). Maybe we all have a soft spot for a royal love story?
